Fee Refund Policy

Fee Refund & Cancellation Policy

Transparent, fair, and aligned with the regulatory guidelines of statutory educational authorities.

General Policy Overview

Narayan Gayatri College of Health Education maintains a transparent and equitable fee refund policy for students who wish to withdraw their admission. This policy is designed in accordance with the prevailing norms of the State Government and apex regulatory bodies governing nursing and pharmacy education. The institution processes all valid refund requests systematically, ensuring fairness to both the student and the institution.

Refund Timelines & Criteria

The eligibility for a fee refund depends strictly on the date the formal withdrawal application is submitted relative to the official commencement of the academic session and the final cutoff date for admissions.

  • Withdrawal Before Commencement of Classes If a student officially withdraws their admission before the formal start of the academic session, the tuition fee will be refunded after deducting standard admission processing and administrative charges.
  • Withdrawal Before the Admission Cut-off Date If the withdrawal request is received after classes have begun but before the final admission cutoff date (allowing the institution to fill the vacant seat), a proportionate refund of the tuition fee will be processed, subject to standard deductions.
  • Withdrawal After the Admission Cut-off Date Once the final date for closing admissions has passed, no refund of tuition, development, or academic fees will be entertained under any circumstances, as the seat will remain vacant for the duration of the program.

Non-Refundable Fee Components

Please note that certain components of the total fee structure are strictly non-refundable regardless of the date of withdrawal. These include:

  • Application and Prospectus Fees
  • One-time Registration / Admission Processing Fees
  • Uniform and Books charges (if materials have already been issued)
  • Council Registration Fees (if already remitted to the respective statutory council)

How to Initiate a Refund Request

To process a cancellation and refund, the student or parent/guardian must follow the official procedure:

  1. Submit a formal written application addressed to the Principal, stating the clear reason for withdrawal.
  2. Surrender the original fee receipts, admission letter, and college ID card (if issued).
  3. Submit a cancelled cheque or bank passbook copy of the parent/guardian or student for electronic fund transfer.

Note: Refunds are processed exclusively via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS) to the official account provided. Processing standardly requires 30 to 45 working days from the date of approval.

Jurisdiction & Amendments:

The Management reserves the right to modify the Fee Refund Policy in alignment with new directives issued by the State Government, UGC, JNRC, or PCI. In case of any dispute regarding the interpretation of these rules, the decision of the College Management shall be final and binding.
